Assistant Coach Jeremy Cothran

 

Coach Cothran, a 2000 graduate of PRC High School, was a 3-year letterman on the Blue Devil baseball team under Head Coach Bruce Penton and Alan Lumpkin. During his senior season he was plauged by injury and missed out on his scholarship to play at PRCC. After graduating from PRC, he attended PRCC in Poplarville, MS and also University of Southern Mississippi where he received his degree in Coaching and Sports Administration. Upon graduation Cothran returned to PRC to began his coaching career in the spring of 2005 on Coach Greg Lewis's staff. During his coaching career, he has helped lead the Blue Devils to three playoff appearances. Also had a chance to coach Mike Lehmannn now with the Kansas City Royals minor league system.

As a coach, he believes in hard work and dedication. Jeremy and his wife Julie have one son, Wes and another baby boy on the way.
