Head Coach Neil Walther

I have coached varsity baseball for twelve years, with this being my tenth as a head coach. During that time I have a 195-81 record (through nine seasons). As a head coach I have coached two teams to a final four in the state (Missouri) and as an assistant was part of the 1995 Indiana state championship team which finished 12th in the nation ( USA Today ).

Teams have won four conference (equivelant to district regular season title in Mississippi), four district titles (which is kind of like 1st and 2nd round of playoffs combined here), three region titles (final eight in state).

Conference coach of the year in 2003 and 2005 (Missouri). And 2003 region coach of the year - also in Missouri.

Have coached 29 players who have signed with colleges (five Div. 1), and have coached four who have been drafted.

Played one year college ball at Lake City Community College in Lake City, Florida, and played three years (pitcher) at Division II University of Southern Indiana where I played in two NCAA Tournaments.

Married to wife Lia for seven years and have three children (Holly 6, Nolan 5, and Reagan 2).
